ISTQB Agile Tester

Designed for testers, this course provides an understanding of how Agile projects are organised, teaching commonly applied Agile development and testing practices. The exam is included in the course price.

Want to learn about the fundamentals of testing in Agile projects? In this extension to the ISTQB Foundation course, you will gain an understanding of how Agile projects are organised. You’ll also learn commonly applied development practices, differences between Agile and traditional approaches, and commonly used testing tools.

By the end of the ISTQB Agile Tester course, you will recognise how testers are positioned in Agile organisations. You will also be able to effectively estimate and organise testing, as well as apply risk-based testing in Agile projects.

Audience:

ISTQB Agile Tester is designed for:

  • Testers wanting to improve their knowledge of working in an Agile environment.
  • Agile testers seeking a stepping stone towards the Certified Agile Tester qualification.
  • Testers wanting to accredit their Agile skills for recognition among employers, clients and peers.

Course Pre-requisites:

All attendees must possess ISTQB® Foundation Certification and have a general understanding of test design, process and terminology.

About Sue Atkins

As a self-confessed bug-magnet, quality advocate and risk nut, Sue Atkins has been active in the world of software testing and process improvement for over thirty years.

She has experience of software development from both the waterfall and Agile perspectives across a diverse range of sectors – from banking and telecoms to healthcare and retail.

Sue has a passion for training and loves to help others grow their skills in all dimensions of testing, quality and process improvement.  She has spoken at a number of conferences, is co-chair of the Scottish Testing Group and was a member of the programme committee for EuroSTAR 2022 – Europe’s largest Testing Conference.

About the exam: 
The Agile tester exam comprises 40 multiple-choice questions, with a scoring of 1 point for each correct answer, a pass mark of at least 65% (26 or more points) and a duration of 60 minutes (or 75 minutes for candidates taking exams that are not in their native language). 

Please note you need to hold the ISTQB Level Foundation Exam to take this test
