Assess risks through the lens of the 6 distinct M_o_R perspectives to enable decision makers to create and protect organisational value.

People and Culture
Understand how people and culture influence the effectiveness of risk management across the organisation.

The M_o_R 4 Process Cycle
Learn the 8 processes, designed to ensure that the activities for effective application are defined, the relationships are clear and the techniques and supporting documents are understood. 

Identify and Assess Critical Risks
Learn how to identify and assess the most critical risks, helping decision-makers understand how individual risks collectively impact the likelihood of achieving organisational objectives.

Response and Contingency Planning 
Learn how to apply specific processes to enhance the likelihood of achieving objectives as well as provide decision-makers with abilty to determine how much contingency to allocate.

Monitoring, Reporting and Adaptating

Audience:

This qualification is aimed at anyone working within a corporate governance environment that has responsibilities for identifying, assessing, planning, or managing risks, or reporting on risk management activities across the organization.

Prerequisites: 

There are no pre-requisites for the M_o_R® 4 Practitioner examination.

All course material will be delivered digital and consist of:

  • Course material with slide sett
  • Official M_o_R 4 manual

How to take the exam:

Regular classroom courses:

Paperbased exam at the end of the last course day

Virtual courses:

You will get an exam voucher that gives you access to an online exam. This can be booked and taken home monitored by a proctor via camera.

The trainer will also guide you through the procedures on how to book and prepare for the exam during the course

For both alternatives:

If you fail on your first attempt you receive a free online retake voucher. This can only be conducted online.

About the exam:

  • Objective-testing format
  • 2 hours 15 minutes duration
  • This is an ‘open book’ examination. The Management of Risk: Creating and Protecting Value (M_o_R® 4 ) publication is permitted. No materials other than this publication and the examination materials may be used in the examination. The official manual may be annotated and tabulated but no sticky notes and loose-leaf papers containing additional notes will be allowed.

    During Open Book examinations you have the option to use your Official Core Guidance Paperback Book, if you have one, or your Official Core Guidance eBook. Learn more here

  • Questions are multiple choice
  • A total score of 33 out of 65 (50% or higher) is required to pass
